Recientemente fue reseñado en el periodico "USA TODAY - PR news", el Periodico Ubuntu. La reseña, titulada: "Independent craftsmanship", la cual fue escrita por Gerry Martinez, menciona lo siguiente "they create the first publication dedicated to arts and crafts" ("ellas crean la primera publicacion dedicada a la artesania").
"In an effort to rescue the tradition and customs of the Puerto Rican culture, Puerto Rican artisan Carmen Sierra, alongside her daughter Yashira Rodriguez, have created "Ubuntu" -the first Puerto Rican publication dedicated to craftsmanship and original artwork. According to its founder, the name of the quartely publication comes from African philosophy and it means, "we need each other".
